Green Co. Girls Golf wins 3rd State Title in 4 years

The Green County Lady Dragons golf team pulled off their 3rd Class A State Title in the past four years, and receiving runner-up in 2010. The Lady Dragons played at Lincoln Homestead Country Club, in Washington County, Saturday, September 8, 2012, after a 2 hour delay due to rain, the Lady Dragons finished up in the Sunshine with a total team score of 318. Team members who played are Sydney Agee (Senior)-93, Cassidy Scantland (Senior)-74, Olivia Parrott (Senior)-79, Leah Rose Judd (Senior)-77 and Gracie Ann Parrott (6th Grader)-88. - Deana Parrott
