Spirit of innovation, invention alive and well in Adair Co., KY

2012-09-07 - 336 Gen. John Adair Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne.
Six year old Jetson Grant took matters into his own hands when he needed a drum like his brother, Joshua Grant, was playing. Jetson took the headrest off his mother's, Denise Grant's van and used it for a drum, and played very well, thank you. The drumsticks were commandeered from his brother, who wasn't needing them at the time. Joshua Grant is in the Adair County Marching Band bassline which also includes Dusty Claiborne, Chad Scholl and Harrison Knifley. Jetson is the son of Denise Grant and Andy Grant and the grandson of Joe and Annabelle Pyles, and Beth and Richard Grant.
