The lime and black cat

2011-05-03 - Fortune ST, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
It had a great personality and may be a neighbor's pet or a nomadic soul, passing through. Its first appearance was of a wandering wayfarer, seeking, perhaps, food. When a camera was aimed at it, it took one Milt Wagner jive step, as if to begin flight; then stopped, and assumed this pose for a Yousuf Karsh portrait. Karsh wasn't here, but this is a point and shoot concept portrait of a great cat with an unusual coat of lime and speckled black, who briefly made eye contact, posed, and passed on by to other affairs.
