Scenic Marion Co., KY: Evergreen Bend

2011-04-27 - Lebanon, KY - Photo by the Feedman.
Evergreen Bend. Located off of Radio Station Road in Lebanon, KY. This four-square colonial home with an existing smokehouse still standing was built in either 1810 or 1840 depending on the research you want to believe. I was in this home once, invited to a New Years eve party in 1980. Don't remember much about the interior of the house . . . Hey it was a New Years Eve party! Along with being on the route that Morgan's Raiders marched during the Civil War, it was also where John Lancaster Spalding, the first bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria and co-founder of The Catholic University of America, was raised. -Kenny Browning, the FeedmanSeen in the ColumbiaMagazine group on Flickr.
