Santa Claus convention on Parrott Avenue, Columbia, KY

2010-11-30 - Photo by Ed Waggener. 300 Block of Parrott Avenue, Columbia, KY
Ralph Roy Waggener editor of It's Just for a Smile News discovered this convention of Santa Clauses at the Blankenship House on Parrott Avenue. "You've got to see it," he said,in the excited voice only little brothers can have.:"Condy Blankenship has more lighted Santas than any place in Adair County. The photo was taken at around 6:30pmCT, Tuesday night of just a part of the Santas. In fact, we plan to return to find out the significance of the Santas lined up like union pickets, outside Blankenship Salvage, 322 Parrott AV, Columbia. If you go, you'll notice one of Mayor Pat Bell's biggest achievements: The changes in the neighborhood since being annexed into the city. It's a very pretty street, which loops off the east side of Campbellsville RD, just north of the bridge.
