Preservation Thermometer at $10,000



2010-01-19 - 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo Courthouse Preservation Committee. Ellen Zornes, left, President of the Courthouse Preservation Committee, and Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton moved the fundraising thermometer up to the $10,000 mark this afternoon, Saturday, January 19, 2010. The actual pledges my be a very few dollars over or under, according to Ellen Zornes, "But we know that, with the county's $6,800 the total is over $9,800, and we expect the total be be solidly over $10,000 after tonight's Adair Heritage Association meeting. The Adair Heritage Association will be having an important reorganizational meeting, Tuesday, January 19, 2010, 6pmCT at the Courthouse Annex Basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY 42728. Anyone interested in the preservation of Columbia and Adair County's heritage as well as looking forward to our future is encouraged to attend.
