Cornelison gets 9 pt. deer

2009-11-19 - Gradyville, KY - Photo submitted by Frances Salyers. Phillip Cornelison got his first deer, a 9-pointer on Sunday, November 15, 2009, hunting at his secret stand on the Janes Lands in Greater Gradyville, KY. Phillip's father, Coy Cornelison, is an employee of Janes Fertilizer in Gradyville. Philip is the nephew of Stevie Rerun Cornelison, the thus far unsuccesful deer hunter from Jericho, KY. Frances Salyers, proprietor of the D & F Grocery and Deli, is asking her folks not to taunt Rerun. "I know what it's like," she said, "I still haven't got my deer. They're telling me I'll have to close up and hunt full time," she said. "they're pretty hard on me."
