Birds of Kentucky: Vultures

2007-10-09 - Holmes Bend - Photo by Pen. Holmes Bend is home to dozens of vultures this morning, including these two. The one on the left is a Turkey Vulture, and the one on the right is either a juvenile Turkey Vulture or a Black Vulture. Birding authorties should weigh in with opinions. Wikipedia has more information on Turkey Vultures and their somewhat unsettling habits.
