passing of Phil Depp

Phil Depp, a native of Metcalfe County, stood tall in affairs of South Central Kentucky during his 99 years.

He was on the boards of directors of two different hospital boards, and was one of the longest serving directors of an RECC anywhere, with 60 years of service with Farmers RECC in Glasgow. He was a noted Standard Bred Horseman, and was a leading farmer in Metcalfe County.

His funeral service will be will be Saturday, August 5, 2006, at 10:00am CT, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY,

Visitation will be after 4:00pm CT, Friday, August 4, 2006, at Grissom Funeral Home.
