LEAD ADAIR begins search for new recruits

2006-05-31 - Columbia - Photo by J. D. Zornes. THE LEADERSHIP GROUP, L.E.A.D. Adair County, enjoyed a kickoff meeting for its third recruitment season at the home of Kaye Bowman last week. Those in attendance enjoyed a summertime picnic potluck and fellowship. They set Monday, June 19 at noon at the Extension Office to meet and solidify a schedule for the next LEAD class. All interested persons are urged to attend. The noon meeting is a bring-your-own lunch event, Kelli will not be cooking. Anyone interested in taking part in the Leadership group may attend, or check in at the Chamber of Commerce, for more details about the group and the opportunity which will begin this fall. Pictured above at the Bowman home are L.E.A.D. members, from left: Joe Payne, Linda Waggener, Ellen Zornes, Kaye Bowman, Kelli Bonifer, Lee Ann Jessee, Beverly England, Corey Finn, and Randy Hadley.
