Scenic Adair CO, KY Flowers: Our own Easter Lily

2006-04-15 - Between Ozark and New Concord, Down in Valley - Photo Ed Waggener. Adair County's own Easter Lily is easily found in damp draws around the Adair County at this time of the year. This Trillium grandiflora was spotted along the creek bank between Ozark and New Concord, a well-kept scenic byway secret. An easy to find patch of trillium is at the foot of the Russell Creek Hill beyond and on the same side of the road as the Kermit and Hilda Grider place, and a couple of hundred feet before the Russell Creek Bridge.
