Adair County Justice Center: March 28, 2006 DLZ presentation, with clerestory windows, six columns added

2006-03-29 - Adair CO Courthouse Annex, Columbia, KY - Photo Staff of DLZ elevation. The latest DLZ elevation of the proposed Adair County Justice Center is moving on to the next stage. The design may have alterations, but what is seen is generally the appearance the building will have. A major change is the addition of clerestory windows, providing natural lighting on the second floor. Six columns are added, but the design firm is considering changing the form from square to round columns, and there is a possibility of additional arched windows to soften the appearance. DLZ President Bill May and Project Manager Paul Knowles presented this drawing to the Adair County Justice Center Project Development Board at its regular meeting, Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in the Courthouse Annex. Judge Jerry Vaughan presided.
