New Highway KY 61: New Grider Road Access

2006-03-05 - Greater Bliss, Adair CO, KY - Photo Staff. The dramatic cut through the top of the hill on Grider Road has now severed the road. A new access f0r the south side of the hill to the new section of road between The Pike and the new Louie B. Nunn/KY 61 interchange can be seen at right. The photo was taken on Sunday, which is the reason for the aggregation of a large number of earth-moving machines and other bang-clang devices. The strange looking work in the upper part of the photo is another piece of equipment which, in the photo, is simply decorative. The view is south toward Burkesville.
