C&S Cleaners spokesmen: Dr. Roger Smith, Gary Corbin

2006-02-23 - Columbia City Hall, Columbia, Adair CO, KY - Photo Ed Waggener. Dr. Roger Smith,forward yielded the most of his five minute time allotment to partner Gary Corbin, white sweater, at the Monday night, February 20, 2006, Columbia Planning and Zoning Commission hearing. Dr. Smith used a brief time to challenge the opposition to the zoning change to buy his property. Mr. Gorbin presented the text which accompanies this photo. The two men and their wives are seeking a zoning change at 503 Greensburg ST in order to enlarge the building on the lot to accommodate a dry cleaning establishment. Opponents city chemical concerns and spot zoning in arguments against the re-zoning, which will be considered March 2, 2006 by the P&Z. Acting chair V.T. Yarberry presided over the hearing.
