Paula Propes won first place prize in slogan contest

2005-09-05 - Columbia, KY - Photo Staff. PAULA AND DANNY PROPES were all smiles after her slogan won first place in the Chamber of Commerce contest. She said she got the inspiration for the slogan from the comment that she and her husband always make as they come home from their travels: "Columbia is a good place to call home." Both are natives of next door Metcalfe County but moved and made their home here because of Danny's career in the Farmers Home Administration. Click 'read more' for details.
