Col. Wm. Casey Encore show choir tours Washington

2005-05-27 - Columbia, KY - Photo Patty Jones. THE SINGERS AND PARENTS with the Col. Wm. Casey Elementary ENCORE show choir are pictured above in Arlington Cemetery at the home of General Robert E. Lee, in view of the Capital and National Mall. While in Washington the group toured the U.S. Capitol, Arlington Cemetery, and many other national monuments.In addition they performed at the National Children's Hospital and the Washington Veteran's Hosptial. The group was in Washington to participate in a national event called America Sings, a venue for students to showcase musical talent and participate in charitable activities. Twenty-three third graders, escorted by a parent/guardian traveled to Washington D.C. April 27 - May 1. The group was chaperoned by Cyndi Crowder, Music Teacher; Pat Coomer, Technology Coordinator, and Patty Jones, Principal. Click here for more about the Choir: Casey's Encore Show Choir
