J. W. Keltner and Anetna Walker

2003-08-13 - Adair County, KY - Photo Staff. Those were carefree Days in Gradyville when J.W. Keltner was riding his pet goat, at neighbor Anetna Walker's house in the year 1939. The photo was made in the yard of the home of Hob and Opal Walker and their two children, Pete (Ralph Russell or R.R.), and Sis (Anetna Walker Russell who now lives in Louisville). J.W. had a little cart which the goat pulled on frequent occasions. He is the son of the late Marvin and Daisy Keltner. Marvin died just short of his 102nd birthday. The house still stands, and is the home of the Ernest Sneeds. This photo is part of the collection of J.W. Keltner, who is living in retirement on Patterson Road in Greater Bliss, KY, after a long truck driving career with Bremmer Cookies in Louisville.
