Tricky Mother Nature

2003-02-23 - Adair County, KY - Photo Linda Waggener. HOLMES BEND ROAD disappeared into misty silence in this Sunday morning snow. Forecasts had called for rain and everyone thought the "possible one inch of snow" mentioned couldn't stick because the ground was so warm. Tricky Mother Nature showed us never to assume anything about Kentucky weather. In parts of Adair County the snow measured three inches.
