Final work completed for Adair County Hospital District

2026-08-27 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
The final audit of the Adair County Hospital District was delivered Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at an unofficial gathering in Columbia. The clean audit - done by Wise, Buckner, Sprowles & Associates, PLLC of Campbellsville - was the final step in the dissolution of the District, allowing the office to close and check for the remainder of $862,229 to be prepared for delivery to Adair County Treasurer Melinda Quinn. Richard Grant, Tammy Curry and Neal Gold have stayed through the District challenge for the entire decade and say there have been many who have served during those who deserve thanks.
