Town Owls beginning to hunt on their own

Billie Kay Wilson, local hobbyist wildlife photographer, has made it to Round 2 of America's Favorite Photo Contest with her entry of "Town Owls." The Town Owls are growing rapidly and beginning to hunt on their own.

Pictured above are Cissie Lynn and Betty Sue, taken in the heart of Columbia on Hurt Street on June 9, 2026. Please continue to show support by voting through all rounds of the competition which ends June 26, 2026.
