Deputy Emily Wall's car riddled with bullets Monday

2026-04-20 - Adair County, KY - Photo from Sheriff Gary Roy.

Adair County Sheriff Gary Roy was proud of Deputy Emily Wall. He said she was the first to arrive on the scene and began taking on gunfire, visible in the pictures of the roof and side of her car. He confirmed that Ryan Sneed, the alleged shooter who took three lives Monday, is dead, and the scene was secured with no more danger to the residents.
