Air show kicks off 2026 Derby celebration

Smoke On Aviation kept families and friends gathered on the banks along the Ohio River, in vehicles, hotels and on television, mesmerized leading up to the fireworks show kicking off the start of the 2026 Kentucky Derby season. This is the view from the Swizzle on the 25th floor of the Galt House courtesy of Mr "P" Express. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, it was great to be there after last year's flooding kept the events from happening.
