Historian and Genealogist Mike Watson highlighted the legacy of Dr. Frank Winfrey in the third monthly Lanterns & Tombstones walk Friday. Winfrey was the son of Major T.C. Winfrey who was present in the Bank of Columbia when it was robbed in 1872. His wife was a member of the prominent Murrell family, adding another layer to the story.
