Eagle Scout Troop 185 working on new swing

2023-10-30 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Eagle Scout Troop 185 selected Ruth's House women's and children's shelter for JOY Miniseries in Columbia for their fall service project. The theme of the project had to focus around planning, leadership skills and community. A new swing is being installed.

The bench swing is ready to place as soon as the ground is prepared. It was donated by Anthony Janes at Fabco. The concrete, which they are preparing the ground for in this picture, is being donated by Mike Mitchum at Mid-State Ready Mix. Scouts at work are, from left: Gilead and Ransom Konsavage, Ty Coleman and Owen Davis.
