Armadillo found dead on Hwy 900

Photographer David Franklin documented the death of an Armadillo on Highway 900 in Adair county.

Rarely seen in this region, the armadillo has been found to have moved northward as far as southern Indiana.

Rev. Dale Curry speaks at Columbia UMC

Rev. Dale Curry, Adair County native from Greensburg, was recently welcomed as guest speaker at Columbia United Methodist Church. He shared with the congregation that this is his first official year of retirement from the Greensburg UMC and he is considering what's next.

Perfect Wedding opens Wednesday night

Perfect Wedding will run with 7pmCT/8pmET performances July 27-29, 2022, and a 2pmCT/3pmET, performance July 31, 2022. For ticket information, to purchase tickets, and to meet more of the cast, visit www.theatrefest.org.

At left is Allison Rae, who plays Rachel in Perfect Wedding. Allison is a recent graduate of Lindsey Wilson with a major in Human Services and Counseling. This is her first performance at LWC but she has been involved in community theatre for many years. She is very excited for the opportunity to be a part of the LWC theatre!

At right is Leigh Bullard-Dews, who plays Daphne in Perfect Wedding. Leigh has been involved with the LWC Theatre Program since 2018 in many facets including acting and supporting the IMAGINE! Youth Theatre.
