Among Shannon Rowe's belongings were treasured personal mementos: ID tags, fair books from various years, and community memorabilia. These items are being carefully archived as part of his legacy. His story is being documented not only to honor his memory, but also to reflect the history of the fair, the town, and those often-overlooked voices who shaped it quietly.

Tiger Lilies of Cane Valley, Kentucky

Robert writes, "For many seasons (20+ years?) the Tiger Lilies bloom around this time of year in front of the woodworking shop...and every year there's more plants than the previous year! The purple colored phlox, also in this spot, provides a nice background to the lilies by adding even more depth of contrasting colors."

Gift of historic Courthouse print given to City

Dr. Mig Feuser presented a framed photograph of the historic Adair County Courthouse to Mayor Pam Hoots at the July Columbia City Council meeting. In his work as a journalist and artist, Feuser currently is creating prints of significant landmarks.
