Fall weather made an outdoor field trip perfect. The grounds are very well maintained and over a dozen historic buildings are open to the public to explore. The one in the photograph was built in 1824 and is in remarkable condition. Guests can go down to the basement or take the stairs all the way up the 4th floor.
