Kentucky Color: Coral Glow 2022-09-18 - Taylor Co., KY - Photo by Billy Joe Fudge. By Billy Joe Fudge Sunrise, Friday morning at Homeplace, produced a heavenly coral glow. It was the first day of a three day Homesteader's Conference. A conference that has brought hundreds of a new breed of 21st century homesteaders from far and near to Homeplace. They came with an innate desire to be as self-sufficient as possible, to farm with nature rather than against nature, to raise their children with an understanding of the natural world and to be more prepared for the next inevitable threat to humanity. It is said that the color coral symbolizes warmth and acceptance! In that sense, I believe this "coral glow" was apropos to this event and all the wonderful folks who participated!
