Looking back at hamburger prices

Harold’s curb service menu reflects a time when the corner of Jamestown Street and Bomar Heights held a restaurant (formerly Jim Dandy). The former employee of Harold's shared this picture and writes, "I started there Friday may 13, 1977 so this menu would have been from the late 1970s early 80s. By this time, the menu says a regular burger was 50 cents.

Bartley, Vanover and Westray arrested by ACSO


2025-03-15 - Columbia, KY - Photo from Adair County Sheriff's Office.
The Adair County Sheriffs Office arrested three Adair County residents on indictment warrants handed down by the Adair County Grand Jury, for burglary and theft charges, that happened in the Cedar Grove Road and Portland Road areas of Adair County. Jarred L. Bartley age 35, Joshua G. Vanover age 30, and Joshua W. Westray age 35.
