Ashley Albrekston of Columbia received an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Campbellsville University in December, and her family wore matching sweatshirts to the ceremony to show their support for her.

Avoiding the splashes

The mural comes to life as Maybellene positions her hands so it appears she's protecting herself from all the paint splashes underneath the huge umbrella. The picture was taken during their recent parade. She is the daughter of Ann and Jeremy Gosser of Murray, KY, and the granddaughter of Mikki and Robert Flowers and the great granddaughter of Yvonne Marshall, all of Columbia.
