Scenic Adair Co.: Cane Valley Church

2026-01-27 - Cane Valley, KY - Photo by Robert Ellis, robertelliswoodworking.com.
Robert writes, "Sometimes slowing down, or even stopping, can let potential photos jump out at you. When I left the house, walking down the frozen road with a light wind in my face and a extreme temperature of 14 degrees, I second-guessed the sanity of even venturing outside. But, I set out to see if there were any opportunities; even if it's with just a cell phone. I decided to press on a little further, and for my reward, pretty much right then and there--this image jumped out at me."

Winter Wonderland, 2 of 2

2026-01-27 - Christine Sano Rd, Adair Co., KY - Photo by Fred Thomas.
Fred writes, "The recent storm might have caused hardship to many folks but it also provided lots of natural beauty. The sleet and freezing rain turned our Burning Bush into a Sparkling Bush and our little Pink Dogwood into a little Silver Dogwood. Beauty can be seen even during tough times if you look for it."
