Massive fireworks display lights up Louisville

The Thunder Over Louisville fireworks display Saturday night was breathtaking from the top of the Galt House at the Mister "P" Express customer appreciation annual event. The event signals the beginning of Kentucky Derby Week in Louisville.

Drone cameras wave flag in sky over Ohio River

For the second year in a row, Thunder Over Louisville featured around 200 individual drones with colored lights to create designs in the sky over the Ohio River just before the fireworks display.

Winner of the real estate fight

Veronica writes, "Pictured here is the winner for the house hunt. Pretty sure it is a type of swallow. I am sitting in my chair reading my Bible as I do each morning. Guessing the bird is deciding if I'm a threat to be chased off. He seemed to accept me and went on fighting for his new home against other birds."

Rollover accident on Hwy 55 South


2023-04-24 - Adair County, KY - Photo from EMS and travel reports.


This was spotted on Greg Zummer's Facebook page during Monday morning drive time and then a message followed on the Adair County Emergency Management's page to use caution with the following information:

"4/24/23 South 55 vehicle accident - Zion Stretch / five miles from Columbia - use caution and expect delays as crews clean up an accidental release of road / tack oil from a CMV wreck." (More will be posted when reports with details come in to CM.)
