Veronica writes, "Locals joined the throngs of people from all over Kentucky for shopping small businesses at the Gathering at the City Farm. Delicious food, and beautiful flowers brightened the overcast morning.

Picture Adorns Lobby

JIM writes, "A gang of lowlife desperadoes murdered Bank of Columbia cashier R.A.C. Martin on April 29, 1872 during a daylight robbery of the bank. This clipping appeared on page one of the May 6, 1930 edition of the Adair County News. (The clipping incorrectly gives the year as 1875.)"
