Tussock moth caterpillars
 2023-08-01 - Fairplay, KY - Photo by Veronica Arnold. Veronica writes, "While out hiking in the woods we saw this conglomeration of bugs. We weren't sure what they were so we kept our distance, observing what we could, snapped a picture for later reference and identification. A tussock moth is what it appears to be. Glad we didn't touch them as the hairs on these caterpillars can cause an itchy rash and reaction.
These guys also LOVE milkweed just like monarchs and are native wildlife. Now we know..."

Tourism supports Downtown Days festival

The Adair County Tourism Board voted to give Renaissance/Downtown Days its final amount needed to pay for the big 2023 event coming in October.
