Reliford family when new church was starting

A look back to the 1970s - Gerald and Laverne Reliford were in the news, with children Scott and Miriam, as they started their new church, New Life for the Nations. It is located on Hwy 55 in the Cane Valley community.

Leading the Founder's Day parade

The DAV led the 6th Annual Founder's Day celebration parade in Summer Shade Saturday, followed by the National Guard and then the Metcalfe County Band. It was a great day for families.
