Travel: Mingus Mill in Great Smoky Mountains National Park
2023-06-13 - Cherokee, NC - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking. Robert writes, "Mingus Mill is located on the North Carolina side of the National Park close to Cherokee, NC. Demonstrations of the Mill in operation are temporarily halted due to renovations. However, you can still park to look around and take a very short hiking trail to the sluice head where the water is diverted from the stream to the Mill. (Pic taken with cell phone.)
Here’s a link to a good web page about the Mill: History of Mingus Mill"
