Historic Flowers property home to new JOY headquarters

A grateful group of board members and volunteers of J.O.Y. Ministries broke ground at 400 Greensburg Street for a new headquarters after ten years of service in four different locations. From left are: Allison Hay, Kisha Burton, Alison Johnson, Hannah Peck, Lisa Vanarsdale, Leeann Jessee, Faith Anderson (tossing out the traditional first shovelful of dirt), Emily Hughes, Rebecca Heuser, Annabeth Sharpe, and Maggie Coleman. In back: Jayson Owens and Preston Cundiff. The gentleman on the far right of the photo is Anthony Payne, son of JOY Ministries' first employee Billy Payne.
