Maxie and Kathy Hadley have a most unique log home, built by the owners, in the community of Fairplay, KY. This season it is graced by flowers in front and in back with blueberry bushes to the side.

Buying up property in Adair County

Guests Tom, Matilda Anne and Karen joined in a birthday round of Columbia-opoly this weekend. The localized community version of the ageless game of Monopoly provides plenty of opportunities for laughs as you buy up hometown assets and then charge rent on them. This keepsake photo was taken when Karen bought Lindsey Wilson College and gave notice there'd be big rent to pay anytime other players landed on the campus.

Congratulations newlyweds Jacob and Hailey

Hailey Hare and Jacob Cowan were married this weekend surrounded by family and friends. Lois Cunningham writes, "It was a wonderful wedding - Jacob couldn't stop smiling." They will live in Glasgow, KY near where Jacob works. We wish them a joyous life together.
