WWII Veteran Joe Stanley VanZant with his sister Ruth
2023-07-11 - Metcalfe County, KY - Photo from Geniece Marcum's collection. WWII Veteran Joe Stanley VanZant with his sister Ruth Garrett are in the center photo in this collection. I'd promised my mom to help her distribute keepsake family pictures to descendants we could find, and finally shared the remaining ones with the Metcalfe County Public library in Edmonton where her family is from. These will be in the genealogy section, VanZant files, when someone searches for connections in the future.

You know it's a Tiger and not just a regular orange lily when you spot the black pearls on the long stem. Those are handy for kids to throw at each other.
