OCC Packing Party at Columbia Baptist Church

Members of the Columbia Baptist Church participated in their annual Christmas in July packing party for Operation Christmas Child. The church was able to pack 367 boxes to jump-start efforts for 2023.

It's Christmas in July at Columbia Baptist Church. The church kicked off their efforts for the 2023 Operation Christmas Child packing season Tuesday night when they hosted their annual July packing party. One of the youngest to participate was Clayton Jackson, the son of Matt and Valerie Jackson.

July 25 Fiscal Court meeting

The Adair County Fiscal Court meeting on Wednesday, July 25. Items on the agenda included Library tax, Ambulance tax, bathrooms at the Jim Blair center, an EDA appointment, and windows at the County Attorney's Office, but the item generating the most interest was the proposed payroll tax.
