Wilburn and Nina Cheatham celebrate wedding anniversary


2023-07-26 - Taylor Co., KY - Photo courtesy Shirley Jones. Wilburn & Nina Cheatham celebrated their 68th Wedding Anniversary on July 23, 2023, with 69 family members and friends at the home of Johnny and Shirley Jones. They were married shortly after Wilburn returned from the Korean War and lived in the Gadberry area of Adair County. They had four children Shelia, Shirley, Ronald, and Marshall. They moved to Taylor County around 24 years ago, where they are residents in a lovely neighborhood.

Gabby Kemp finished packing yet another box at the Columbia Baptist Church Christmas in July packing party. The church jump starts their annual campaign for Operation Christmas Child by hosting a July packing event each year. National collection week for Operation Christmas Child is November 13-20, 2023.
