Work together was message at EDA luncheon

The Columbia Adair County Economic Development Authority (EDA) brought together members of both city and county government as well as school and civic leaders to examine how we improve our job numbers in future. Speaker Brad Thomas brought experience that shows it's just a matter of getting our good story together, promoting our assets - like water which is the new black gold - and getting the word out so manufacturers can find us. The most important message was that we must work together and each of us act as a recruiter - telling the positive things at every opportunity.

Kyle Mann is new SBDC business coach

Kyle is a new business coach with the Small Business Development Center of Kentucky and will be the guest speaker this fall at a Chamber lunch meeting. The SBDC mission is to provide Kentucky businesses and entrepreneurs with the expertise and resources to succeed. Kyle is looking forward to helping local and area businesses and entrepreneurs learn of the services they can benefit from through the SBDC.
