Tara is the winner of a Houseboat Vacation on Lake Cumberland, courtesy of Conley Bottom Resort, in a fundraising event to support The Center for Rural Development's summer youth leadership programs. 2023 Rogers Scholar John David Baird drew the winning ticket on Monday, July 31, at The Center. Assisting with the drawing is Amber Decker, Youth Programs Coordinator and Community Liaison.

Hooligan Burger's sign is up at new center

Progress continuing in New Columbia - The new building in front of The Appliance Store has the parking lot pavement going on this week. Hooligan Burger's sign is up on the front of the fourth spot. They will be closing on Jamestown Street and moving there when it’s done. Little Cesar’s will be coming into the first spot in the center, at left.
