Adair High School student Brody Blair, center, shared that the Governor's Scholars Program was an experience of a lifetime. He wrote, "Words simply cannot describe the magnitude of the GSP experience I had this summer. It was truly the best 50,000 minutes with the best people."

Farmers Market on the Square honored by City

The Farmers Market on the Square (FM2) family was complimented by Mayor Pam Hoots when she signed a proclamation declaring this week of August 13-19, 2023 Farmers Market Week in Columbia. The proclamation says in part that it is for recognition of our local Farmers Market, for their service and dedication to the community. The local Farmers Market is one of the most active in our region. They have approximately 25 to 30 vendors each Saturday morning. Today was the last weekday market of this season. The Saturday Market goes through October on the corner of Merchant and Campbellsville Streets in Columbia.
