Metcalfe Schools hold opening day rally

Metcalfe County Schools opening day rally was held Thursday morning, August 24, 2023. Kim writes, ""it was loaded with energy. Everyone is wished a great 2023 – 2024 school year!" The banner behind school leaders reads, "Through these halls walk the future leaders of our community."

Smooth rides on new blacktop around town

Traffic patterns and speed have had to change a bit over these two weeks in August but the smooth rides and clean looks of streets make it all worth it. This is the view just off the Public Square heading up Jamestown Hill toward the LBN Cumberland Parkway.

Three new busses added to Adair fleet

The Adair County Schools just received three new Thomas Buses that will be ready for the start of the 2023-2024 school year. The buses include two 66-passenger school buses and one 30-passenger school bus.
