International Student Spotlight: Azaliia Gabdrakipova

Say hello to Azaliia Gabdrakipova! Azaliia joined the Lindsey Wilson family in Fall 2022 from Russia. She is currently majoring in business administration and is also a member of the swim team.

So far, Azaliia has traveled to eight countries and can speak four languages! When asked about adjusting to life in the U.S., she said, "I was surprised how friendly people are here, how often they smile, and how diverse Lindsey Wilson College is."

Adair man arrested for impersonating officer


2023-09-27 - Russell County, KY .

Chance Burton, 24, of Columbia, KY was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, September 26, 2023 by the Russell County Sheriffs Office for Impersonating a Peace Officer, Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd degree (on Foot), Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Giving Officer False Identifying Information.

Burton was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
