Dr. Kyle Mann, an Adair County High School graduate who holds a BS degree in Biochemistry from Western Kentucky University and a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Louisville, was the guest speaker at the October Chamber of Commerce meeting. He is now a representative for the Kentucky Small Business Development Center which he shared details about at the meeting. He looks forward to having opportunities to help local businesses. Business and entrepreneurship have been an integral part of Kyle's life, growing up in family businesses and recently launching his own business, UpScore Test Prep, LLC, an online ACT student test prep program which we'll have more on at a later date. Burney Creek feeds the center of the Falls, and underground springs make up a large portion of its width. While coming close to 130 feet in height, I think overall, it's the width that lends much to the beauty of it. The trail that leads to the waterfall is a short easy hike; a must see if you are in this area of the state. This state park lies along a highway that leaves Northern California and enters some of Oregon's interior...and... to more waterfalls!"
