Travel: Burney Falls

2023-10-15 - Shasta County, California - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking.
Robert writes, "These Falls are perhaps the best we've ever seen. Burney Creek feeds the center of the Falls, and underground springs make up a large portion of its width. While coming close to 130 feet in height, I think overall, it's the width that lends much to the beauty of it. The trail that leads to the waterfall is a short easy hike; a must see if you are in this area of the state.

This state park lies along a highway that leaves Northern California and enters some of Oregon's interior...and... to more waterfalls!"
