Safe Halloween tours start every five minutes

LWC students will escort children and their family members from the Holloway Health & Wellness Center through four residence halls decorated in various family-friendly themes. LWC students will greet the children dressed in costume.

Families focus on soccer skills development
 2023-10-27 - Columbia, KY - Photo by George Kolbenschlag. Families with children ages 3 to 15 have formed teams this camp season, and each Saturday tested their skills in competitions. Those 5-15 also meet Tuesdays for practice. This year's program ends this month, but the soccer "camp" will reconvene next fall at Lindsey Wilson College.

LWC coaches, students help ages 3-15 in soccer camp

Lindsey Wilson soccer coaches and players have been helping around 120 enthusiastic young soccer players to sharpen their skills at the game through the summer camp. Ranging in age from 3 to 15, the young athletes form teams and each Saturday test their skills in team competitions. Those 5-15 also meet Tuesdays for practice.

Window trim being painted on historic Courthouse
 2023-10-26 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. The tall arch windows on the Burkesville Street side of the historic Adair County Courthouse look great with a coat of white paint. The window on the right of the four still has plywood covering it where it has sustained damage over the years. It is hoped repairs can save it soon.
