Gov. Andy Beshear will lead for four more years
 2023-11-08 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Gov. Andy Beshear won reelection November 7, 2023 and one of his main campaign themes was economic growth in the state. He is pictured here at his October 3rd visit in front of ACVFD Ladder One on the new grounds of Franklin Ford where he announced projects totaling more than $9.5 million in funding to support natural gas lines, high-speed internet access, clean water, economic development, infrastructure, tourism and more here. It is part of the county's forward momentum - Phillips Tank & Structure, a nationwide tank construction contractor, had just announced plans to build a $2.76 million fabrication shop that will create 20 new full-time jobs.

Campbell shares writing tips with Adair Arts Council

She shared her new book, "What Have You Done Now Rosie Putt?" along with a number of helpful points to members who are writing for publication. ACAC Secretary and painter Karen Roland is at left. The Arts Council meets again Thursday in the lower level of the Training and Development Center, 201 Burkesville Street in Columbia. Everyone is welcome.

Election Officials at the ready
