Elves are waiting for adoption at the the Elf House Adoption Agency inside the the Adair County Public Library. Children who adopt an Elf Reading Buddy are encouraged to read to their elf every day for the Winter Reading Challenge.

Christmas in Columbia 2023: out of county second place

Free Union Separate Baptist Church from Russell County was the Christmas in Columbia out of county second place winning float. Their theme was "Jesus is a Lifesaver." The reflections in the wet pavement gave them double exposure.

Christmas in Columbia 2023: out of county non float

Merry Christmas from the Hubbard and Eanes families of Edmonton. Timothy Hubbard, Connie Eames, and Lilly Emmett with their little dog Poochie, and in the back Robert Eames. They won the out of county non float first place just as they had seven years ago on December 2nd.

Adair County High School Future Farmers of America took third place in Saturday's Christmas parade with their float, "A Magical Christmas."

T.J. Health Columbia was chosen by the judges for second place float in county with their theme, "Where All Your Healthcare Dreams Come True."

Christmas in Columbia 2023: First place in county

First place in the in-county parade float contest was won by Columbia Church of Christ with Frosty The Snowman, "There Must Have Been Some Magic..." The blowing snow that was part of their production was a nice touch in the face of the pouring rain.
